Thanks for sharing your question and photos. The combination of fillers and erbium laser resurfacing would diminish shadows, improve elasticity and generate collagen. Make an appointment with an experienced oculofacial surgeon for proper guidance. Good luck.
Hi @breezemarch! You can help smoothen the smile lines with dermal fillers. Restylane Defyne and Refyne work great in that area! Another great option is Morpheus 8 for skin tightening. Morpheus8 is a non-surgical treatment for full body skin resurfacing, skin tightening, and fat reduction of stubborn areas. It uses minimally invasive fractional radiofrequency energy (RF) to penetrate the skin deeper than other microneedling devices, triggering the skin’s natural healing response to promote skin tightening and lifting.
I suggest reaching out to an expert for a formal consultation. I like to recommend my patients start a combination of facial rejuvenation treatments.1) Skincare with products and microneedling/PRP2) PDT Light Therapy a few times per month with growth factors3) Laser treatments like Clear + Brilliant regularly and others (Fraxel, Moxi, Viva, CO2, Erbium, Halo) a few times per year4) Sculptra injections a few times per year for collagen production with fillers like Juvederm, Restylane, Belotero, Radiesse, and/or Bellafill5) Thermage/Ultherapy for yearly skin tightening with or without PDO or cone-based Instalift threads for lifting6) Botox every 2 to 3 months to stop movement lines and prevent lines at restBest, Dr. Emer.
Thank you for your question. There are a few treatments which would lead to improvements. Small doses of botox would be able to weaken the muscles slightly to reduce the lines; however, this would have to be balanced carefully to avoid weakening your smile. There are in-office tightening procedures such as Ultherapy and Thermitight. Lastly, a facelift would also be effective but would carry the most downtime. Best,Dr. P
As we age, we lose collagen in our skin and volume. Sculptra is a natural treatment that stimulates your body's own collagen production. Results are achieved slowly over 3 treatments and 6-12 months, however last 2+ years! Dermal fillers can have similar, but more instant and shorter-lasting results to bring back volume and structure to that area. I also notice the corners of your mouth turn down a little at rest, and a neuromodulator (like Botox or Dysport) could help by relaxing the muscle that pulls the corners of the mouth down.
HA fillers, Sculptra bio stimulators, ? PDO threading, mini facelift. are all options. best to see in person or virtually a boarded surgeon.
Hi there,It appears that you are experiencing some volume loss. Have an evaluation with a board certified injector and discuss fillers in this area.Best of luck!
Hello, and thank you for your inquiry! Yes, I think that you are a good candidate for cheek filler. By adding filler into your cheeks it will help with the downward shadow that you are noticing. Another procedure that you could benefit from would be PRP, platelet rich plasma. This procedure will...
This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. See an expert who does facial shaping with surgical and non surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
The dissolving agent (hyaluronidase) breaks down the filler, but can also break down some of the hyaluronic acid that you have in your skin naturally leaving a bit of a divot. This should be temporary because your body will replace that hyaluronic acid over time. It may take months to resolve...
