When can I expect improvement. Using Vanicream HC, cold compresses, and got a steroid shot today. I’m just getting “it’s fine” from where it was done, but I just don’t buy it. They told me in 3 days everything would be better. Day 3 & 4 have been the worst. I wake up with massive swelling each morning! Please tell me this will soon resolve with simple remedies.

I recommend skin care with vitamin c, b5 hydrator, silicone based scar gels with growth factors and enzymatic washes with papaya enzyme to give improvement. Sun protection is essential....
