It is normal to have some moderate pain and discomfort in the first few days following placement of a chin implant. But if the pain is excessive, this is abnormal and should be discussed with your surgeon right away. I hope this helps, and I wish you the best of luck with the remainder of your recovery. 

It is not unusual that you would still be having pain 4 days after placement of a chin implant.  The pain could last a week or two, but it should be getting better with time.  If you feel the pain is worsening in any way, you should contact your surgeon.
