Is my mole infected? (photo)

They didn't fully remove the mole I'm pretty sure they just took the root of it out. But it's starting to turn yellow, I apply ointment to it I just don't know if my skin is irritated from being on my hair line or if it really is infected or possibly growing back??

After surgery, scars continue to heal and change in a process called "remodeling" for at least a full year. That being said, your scar does seem to be quite raised. It looks like it is turning into what's called a hypertrophic scar or an early keloid. I would recommend a visit with the physician...

Hi, Its impossible to say from a picture if they are benign or malignant.  I would recommend you see a dermatologist or plastic surgeon and have them examined using a dermatoscope.  If you feel that they have changed in any way and if there are suspicious features on dermatoscopy then...

Any mole removed can return. It is hard to know if it is serious without knowing more details so I would go in for a follow up.

See your derm surgeon for evaluation but just from the photos I would guess that it is a benign cherry angioma which is easily zapped and gotten rid of.
