Dark circle treatment, lifted "cat eye" effect - Options? (photos)

Thank you for your pictures. I think you have lovely eyes. I can appreciate some of the darkness underneath your lower eyelid. There are no surgical procedures that can correct this . Improvement of this area is a labor of love with uses for Retin-A, use of vitamin C, and sunscreen as a minimum.

In regards to the "cat eye" people have used a canthoplasty to achieve this. This is a surgical procedure to lift the corner of the eye. I do not recommend using a canthoplasty as a standalone procedure. It is a complementary procedure with a lower eyelid lift – blepharoplasty to improve the tone and position of an eyelid that is loose and droopy. The best way to get is to use your well establish make up techniques!

Many thanks for question with photos. The best minimally invasive treatment for lower eyelid darkness depends on what is causing the darkness. If you don't have shadow from "hollows," it may be melanocytic pigmentation, very fine creases of that thin skin which cause a cumulative effect of shadow, venous discoloration (tends toward a faintly bluish tint), or some combination of those. The predominant factor in that darkness must be determined and will direct treatment.

Lifting the lateral canthal angle for "cat eye" effect can be accomplished surgically ("Bratz" blepharoplasty) or non-surgically with skilled application of cosmetics or with eyeliner stickers.
