If you're unhappy with your final results after a chin implant you have 2 options:1) Get a different implant 2) Place filler on top of the implantPlacing a different sized implant will create a permanent solution. It is rather easy and quick procedure to place a different implant if the implant is made of silicone. If you have a Gortex or other type of implant, I would be more difficult to place a different implant. I hope this helps.
A chin asymmetry related to asymmetric underlying bone, implant malposition, large implant or all the above, may be addressed with appropriate implant and other adjustments needed. However, if you have asymmetry related to muscle weakness, cross bite, bite shift etc., it could not be corrected with implant removal/replacement. A consultation with an orthodontist and/or oral surgeon may be necessery before you decide to proceed with chin implant replacement. Good luck.

If possible get a copy of your operative report.
