Our office has many different treatments for acne scars depending on the depth of atrophy or hypertrophy. Maintain a healthy skepticisn when confronted with all the marketing and social media hype for expensive fraxel laser and RF microneedling devices, as these are backed far more by the advertising than any hard science. Instead, explore the use of relatively inexpensive treatments that have stood the test of decades of successful use in all skin types and engender little to no significant post-treatment downtime. These include Field Subcision for elevating and smoothing large areas of acne-related atrophy, such as may occur in the cheeks and temples.
