One week post Breast augmentation. 34A before with 550cc submuscular silicone implants.

Question

I got my ba a little over a week ago. Everything was going great until I noticed that on my left boob underneath it's not rounded out. There's almost a straight line. What's causing that? Also, will my cleavage line get closer together when they drop? I can't find any bras that would fit me to push them closer together. I got measured at Victoria's Secret and was a 34DDD.

After
breast implant surgery, I advise the patients to take one week off from work.
 At that point we take out their stitches and teach them the implant
massage technique.  We suggest 5 times per day with the massage and no bra
for one month.  The patients may return to work, but may not engage in any
strenuous activity.  At one month, the patients start to wear a of cup bra
with no underwire and can start low impact cardio.  At two months they can
wear an underwire bra and engage in more strenuous physical activity.
 Breast massage continues forever, although only once per day. It will take 6 months for the contours to settle down.  You should not be out shopping, getting measured for bras, or trying to push the breasts together with a bra.  All too early.

Congratulations on getting your breast aug!! Now the fun part...waiting to see your final results! I typically advise my patients to wait a good 4-6 months to see their final shape because implants tend to drop and settle some. If you are still concerned about the appearance of your breasts at that point, best to address your concerns directly with your operating surgeon. Best of luck for great results!

Its too early to comment about your results. You will need to massage your breasts and follow up with your PS. Eventually the implants drop to their pockets and things tend to settle down well. Patience.

Thanks for sharing your photos and question.In my review of your photos you are within the normal range of healing for only one week after your breast augmentation.  In some cases where implants larger than 400-450 cc are selected the implants can give a very full appearance up top and may tend to take longer to settle and allow for the swelling to resolve.  It appears that your surgeon did a nice job for you.  Remember, it is still early and your results should continue to improve every week.  Make sure to follow up with your surgeon and make sure you are on track.Best Wishes
