Congratulations on your surgery! What you are experiencing is completely normal and your photos show normal postoperative healing. There are several normal factors that may impact your vision. Swelling of the conjunctiva (chemosis, as you mentioned), ointment used after surgery, the fact that your tearing production and outflow is affected- all impact vision and will slowly improve in the days to weeks after surgery. If the lower lid was tightened there can even be transient pressure on the cornea that can also distort your vision.Follow up with your surgeon and continue all postoperative care guidelines.
What you are experiencing is very normal for this soon post surgery. You have swelling and some of this swelling is actually under the conjunctiva (called chemosis). This is very common and usually subsides after a week. To hasten the recovery, keep your eyes covered with moist, cool gauze and don't over exert your eyes. Allow them to rest and recover from the surgery. You should see your surgeon within the week after surgery. Good luck.

Thank you for your question. it is very difficult to assess someone's eyes/eyelids based only on photographs. it is important that you seek consultation with a board certify plastic surgeon for a complete examination of the periocular area. It is possible that you have eyelid...
Call the office. If it is after hours, tell the service that you just had surgery and it is urgent the doctor calls you back. I have to ask how old is your surgeon? The reason is that Chloramphenicol ophthalmic ointment is not used that often anymore. It was new to market...
Having said that, I think you are in trouble. I think your surgeon put your creases too high. The left crease is higher than the right crease. I have written this on Realself before that this is often seen in right handed surgeons. They get the crease right on the side of...
