It has been 4 mths and I still have the drain! I am tired of the antibiotics upsetting my stomach after 4 1/2 mths! Advice?

Question

The Dr in Miami performed the surgery in my right butt cheek to remove foreign material that was put in 2 yrs ago to fill in a hole I had there. 3 mths and I was not recovering so went back to see him and he performed another surgery through the same incision to remove what he said was a capsule. He said drain should come off in a mth or less. 6 wks later I am still draining about 50-60 cc in 24 hrs. I feel he is avoiding me now:( I am worried he does not know what to do with me. Please help

If you decide to go to a different surgeon than the one that performed your initial procedure in Miami, it will be helpful to being your prior operative notes with you.
