I had an FUT hair transplant 4 years ago with a reputable doctor. As the hair started growing in, I immediately noticed that it was a different texture than the rest of my hair. I have very thin & straight textured hair but the transplanted hairs were very coarse, kinky & almost resemble pubic hair. My doctor said that this would only be temporary but the hairs are still growing in that way. So I'm wondering what would have caused this & is there anything that can be done? Could it be permanent?
