I have attached a photo below and was curious how many grafts I would need. Currently on finasteride which works and have never had a transplant before.

That depends on how much coverage you're aiming to achieve. For full coverage, you would most likely need 7000-9000 grafts. However, it's best to see a dermatologist for a closer inspection and consultation.

Medication like Finasteride or Rogaine can be effective for hair loss treatment like in your case. From your photos, I believe you may need around 2,000-3,000 hair grafts depending on how much balding you have underneath the canopy of long hair. The best hair result is from combining both Medication and surgery. Doing a consultation with the hair transplant surgeon is the best option to determine how much hair you needed.
