I am 2 months and 11 days (10 weeks) post op from my breast augmentation. I have 415cc on my LEFT and 485cc on my RIGHT due to being asymmetrical. My left breast has dropped and fluffed around the edges but my right still sits high. I've been doing my massages for 5 weeks now, only 3 weeks I was consistent with the massages. Will this require surgery?

Answer: High implant Thank you for your question and photos. My recommendation is be patient. You're only 10 weeks out. Things will continue to evolve. Continue to massage your breast. If your implant is still high in 6 months talk to your surgeon. There is a small procedure that can be performed called capsulotomy to lower your right breast implant. I don't think you will need this however. Good luck. DrMaz

Answer: 10 weeks after breast augmentation. One breast is still high. Should I be worried? (photos) Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. After placement of implants, the appearance of the breasts will change dramatically over the next several months, as the implants drop, and the overlying tissue stretches to accommodate the extra volume. In your case the swelling from surgery is flattening your right implant and holding it high on your chest. Though your left has settled the right lagging is not uncommon and often is the result of the increased volume in that side. I know waiting is difficult, but judge your results at 4-6 months after surgery as most of your breast changes should have occurred by then. Hope this helps.
