I am a 50 year old female (5’8”, 142lbs). I walk 4-5 miles a day w/my dog. I also do yoga 2-3 times a week, and have recently added resistance training 3 times a week, and HIIT into my routine. I am in good health and eat well, but am struggling with my ability to build muscle (my arms being my biggest issue). In addition to building muscle, I have to lose body fat. Would Emsculpt help my arms? And is it recommended that you do both the biceps and triceps for best results and balance?
Answer: EMSculpt for arms EMSculpt can definitely improve the muscle mass of your arms and can also decrease some of the overlying fat. If you want more fat loss in that area you can combine with Coolsculpting for the best result possible.Andrew Campbell, M.D.Quintessa

Answer: As a 50 year old female struggling to build arm muscle and lose fat, what kind of results could I expect from Emsculpt? Hi Cayenne,The new Emsculpt arm and leg paddles work similar to the paddles for the abdominals and glutes. you may expect a 16-20% increase in muscle mass of the arms over a 6 to 12 month period. I would recommend treating both the biceps and triceps for optimal results. With you commitment to staying in shape, you are likely an excellent candidate for Emsculpt. Good luck and be well.Dr. PEncino, CA

Answer: Sculptra -- Great for longterm collagen production -- Combine with fillers or do a fat transfer A lot of our patients love to use fillers like sculptra and bellafill to add onto muscle definition and build volume. A fat transfer is a great option as well - combining these options with Emsculpt can give you great results. Speak with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: EMSculpt Minimal fat (around 3%) is eliminated via Emsculpt. I would suggest CoolSculpting to eliminate unwanted fat and then following with EMSculpting treatments to tighten the muscles. Consult your doctor to know more

Answer: Can Emsculpt Build Muscle and Melt Fat in the Arms I have found Emsculpt to work extremely well in the arms for building up bicep and tricep muscles and melting fat. Due to the thinness of the skin in the arm region, the effects are very noticeable. The skin appears tighter, fat disappears, and the muscles appear lean and toned. My patients have been very happy with the results and I highly reccomend this treatment to my perimenopausal, menopausal, and post menopausal patients. The results last a period of one year, without any additional work-out or intervention and the transformation continues weeks to months after the reccomended series of four treatments.
