Your biopsy result shows some general information in terms of what the doctor saw under the microscope, but it does not unequivocally provide you with a diagnosis. A biopsy is just one piece of the puzzle, so to speak. To reach a diagnosis that is factually accurate, it is best to consult with a board-certified dermatologist with expertise in hair loss. He/She will evaluate and assess your complete clinical case and come up with viable treatment options that you will hopefully be happy with.

You’re going to want to discuss with your doctor. We don’t diagnose hair loss based a biopsies alone. Rather the entire clinical history and the examination findings are factored in. I m don’t know if vertical sections were used as it does not say: I do not know if miniaturization was seen as it does not say. The “inferior parietal scalp” is not typically an area where we would look for miniaturization anyways but you should review the purpose of the biopsy with your doctor. Even if a person has AGA, the “inferior parietal scalp” does not always show signs of this condition- at least in the early stages.
