I have skin darkening around my chin, upper lip, cheeks, neck, and underarms. What could be causing this? I am not able to get a proper diagnosis. I am prediabetic and my A1c is under 6, controlled by metformin. I have tried topicals such as hydroquinone but it gave a purple darker hue so I stopped using. I’ve seen a dermatologist who didn’t give me a diagnosis. I’ve been on 250mg TXA for 4 months and have also done glutathione IV drip 2 times a week for 2 months and no improvement. Please help. This is effecting my self confidence.
