Am I a candidate for corner lip lift? (Photo)

I feel like my mouth ages me. I have done fillers for years but am looking for something that lasts longer. Would a corner lip lift help? I want a very natural look. Thanks!

A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. You will learn to smile with less intensity and not give a gummy show. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

A conservative lip lift about 4 mm as well as a muscle lift will likely not change the distance very much between your nose and your lips, but will give you more incisive show. Few months after surgery you still have “significant” swelling and rigidity in the area. Exactly what you experience when smiling. It will soften and improve over time (1 year). Keep smiling it helps.
