Hi I have extreme pollen allergies that will just last for a couple of weeks. My doctor wants to do the revision lip lift during the worst high of my allergies on Monday. The nurses all say it is fine too. How can it be fine when my nose is already swollen from allergies? Will this not cause the scarring to develop worse, due to high inflammation?

A lip lift is a surgical procedure designed to shorten the space between the nose and the upper lip, enhancing the appearance of the lips by making them appear fuller and more pronounced. This procedure typically exposes more of the upper teeth rather than providing more coverage.

I recommend a lip lift. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners.

A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. You would benefit from a lip lift. However, it should not change the upturn nature of your nose.
