Will lip lift revision during seasonal allergies cause scarring to be worse?

Hi I have extreme pollen allergies that will just last for a couple of weeks. My doctor wants to do the revision lip lift during the worst high of my allergies on Monday. The nurses all say it is fine too. How can it be fine when my nose is already swollen from allergies? Will this not cause the scarring to develop worse, due to high inflammation?

I see no reason why lip revision should not be postponed after allergy season? There is nothing urgent in lip revision, while increased nasal drainage due to allergy and nose cleaning, rubbing, may compromise healing of the incision on the base of the nose. You should discuss this issue with your surgeon again. Good luck.
