Thank you for your question. You can treat the lips with laser treatments. Some of them may cause swelling and bruising. Consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeons office for treatment options.

Angiomas on the lips are commonly treated with a laser.  I prefer to use a pulsed dye laser for this treatment.  It is possible there would be some mild swelling and the area can become bruised but these would be relatively short term effects.

Yes, pulse dye laser is my preferred choice- V BEAM. You will have some bruising and swelling for a few days, but skin colour changes a very rare following this procedure-especially on the lips.
