Hi there, In would like to know if there are any help for my lips. my lips lack definition and i find them quite odd shaped. Could fillers work to define my shape, if not what else. Thank you for your help

You need to be evaluated by an Oral Surgeon or Craniofacial Plastic Surgeon who specializes in orthognathic surgery. With special X-rays they can analyze what surgery would be best for you. I suspect they will recommend a maxillary shortening procedure (Lefort surgery) to correct this problem...

It is possible for your lip bumps to be reduced by steroid injections, but it is tough to know for sure without examining you. You should go to an expert facial plastic surgeon or dermatologist to get a more definite answer. Be sure to talk to the doctor about how long ago you had the cold sores.

This is an interesting question and one I have never been asked before as a cleft lip surgeon.  Most of the time I am trying to give my patients more philtral definition.  Any surgery here could easily upset the delicate balance of the movements of the lip
