Treatment advised and why this happened please? Volume loss or overactive muscle there? I got silk filler a year ago in dark circles.

Volume and contouring of the cheeks can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra. Implants or fat are alternatives. Botox and radiofrequency can help slim and contour the jawline. Liposuction can help slim the face. Ultherapy, J Plasma and rf treatments can provide skin tightening and lift. Hi! The dents are the nasolabial folds or the indentation lines that become more prominent when people smile. These folds also tend to deepen with age. These indentation lines are a normal part of human anatomy and become more noticeable due to various factors including- sun exposure which damages the skin, dehydrated skin, genetics, smoking, loss of fat or loss of collagen with age. This can be fixed with a non-surgical cosmetic procedure called dermal fillers which are injected under the skin to reduce these lines and the results may last several months or longer. Deep lines when you smile may not go away completely as it would be unnatural. Your facial expression is due to so many small facial muscles which shouldn’t be paralyzed as your smile can be affected. Consult a plastic surgeon who can guide you on various fillers that are available and what will suit you the best.
