Is there allergy testing for Botox?

I had botox injected between my eyebrows for 2 deep lines I had. I had the procedure done around 11am and that evening I started feeling a tightening in my throat and my lymph nodes in my neck hurt. My doctor said he wants me tested for an allergy to it before he would inject me again. He has not had any patients that have had my symptoms.

Thank you for submitting your question.  Botox rarely cause mila or small whiteheads from forming.  Make sure your physician uses alcohol based cleanser prior to injection. Good Luck

This is true. Repeated use of Botox can cause a gradual relaxing of the treated muscles, making your results last longer.

Botox and the skin tightening work in different ways, so it's fine to have these two treatments within a few days of each other. Get the skin tightening first, and when your skin is no longer irritated, get the Botox.
