Good Morning! Great questions. The coronal brow lift has largely gone out of favor due to the large incision needed and subsequent numbness that's created. The incision goes from ear to ear across the top of the head and hair loss near the incision can occur. I only really use this approach for massive facial trauma fracture repair. The trichophytic approach allows good camouflage and access for the surgical maneuvers. The forehead can be reduced and hairline preserved. I often combine this with an endoscopic approach for best results. Both last for a long time. Hope this helps!
