Can armpit hair removal laser destroy the sweat glands?

Hi, I had my first session of armpit hair removal laser a few days ago. Since then I noticed that I don’t sweat on my underarms anymore. My concern is that my sweat glands was destroyed by laser. If that happened is that a permanent damage or temporary? Thanks a lot.
