Hi, I have a IBM OF 28 and want to get the gastric sleeve. I'm a vegetarian, already have a pretty restricted diet, and still can't lose the 30-40 lbs I have extra. can I get the gastric sleev or would this procedure be dangerous for me, I appreciate the replies. Thank u

Hello, I hope ou  are well. A BMI of 28 would not make you eligible for a gastric sleeve. However, there are other methods or interventions that may be more appropiate for you. These inluce the gastric balloon, or even lifestyle changes guided by a multidiscipinary bariatric team, which includes a specialized nutriologist and psicologist. Hope this answer was helpful.
