Is Profound effective on heavy neck bands? (photos)

Based on your pictures, The best option is Surgery for you. But if for some reason, you are not looking for surgical options so Profound is one of the most efficient options to lift upper neck and lower face . in your case Profound cannot remove the fat and fix neck banding but it lift the lower face and pull up the neck skin so it improves the area.

The best treatment for you would be liposuction of your neck. An expert facial plastic surgeon can remove the fat and then tape your skin down, wrap your neck for 5-7 days so that the skin heals down to the underlying muscle tissue. Profound RF may decrease some fat, but in your case it will not be enough. Choose your facial plastic surgeon carefully.

In my opinion, Profound microneedle radio-frequency should tighten the neck and reduce the fat. One session is usually needed. Find an expert.

Hi,
Profound RF is an excellent treatment for collagen and elastin stimulation, which together helps with improved skin tightening and quality. Fat reduction is minimal and I think based on your photos, you would be better served by a midline neck lift, which would address 3 layers: muscle laxity in the neck, excess fat, and also skin tightening. This involves a small 2 cm incision hidden underneath the chin. I often times will combine Profound RF with this surgery to help with skin tightening, but Profound RF alone will not reduce fat and tighten the muscle layer of the neck. This would require a surgical neck lift . Profound would have little to no effect . The radio frequency heat is not a substitute for surgical liposuction . In addition any effects from profound would have to be done multiple times and have very limited longevity
