How Common is to Have Breast Implants Size Changed After Reconstructive Surgery?

I had bilateral mastectomy and breast reconstruction with silicone implants. I am considering having surgery to change the size of the implants since I found them to be too big for my frame.

Usually do not help minimize your seroma... you need to let your surgeon guide you through your recovery and if you truly have a deep seroma, could as your surgeon about seeing an interventional radiologist about possible draining it.  Best wishes as your history sounds complicated.

I have never heard of this being a problem and our breast radiologist at my institution does not see this as a contraindication.  I believe it is safe to have an MRI.   Dr Gill
