I,m 67 years old I want to get my upper and lower eyelids fixed, maybe a face lift. my jawline is square, I have high cheek bones, but under them is hollow, sunken in. Is it a bad surgery to have your face shape changed? I would also like bigger lips and see if you can make my face round instead of square? and smooth my face? Thank you

Answer: Changes to face shape during facelift (rhytidectomy) surgery There are certainly ways to change the shape and contours of your face, and for you one of the likely factors contributing to the squared appearance of your jawline is the descent of your jowls and midface structures. Lifting and redraping the skin and soft tissue of the face will take away volume from your lower face and restore it to your midface - creating a more tapered jawline.

Answer: Can you change the shape of a person's face, square jawline? Thank you for your question. It would be nice to see some images to understand what your concerns are. As we age the facial tissues descend and form jowls, this change can give our face a more 'square' appearance. In this situation a facelift can elevate the deep tissues and redefine the jaw line producing a more desirable 'heart' shaped face. Fillers are often combined with a facelift and can help reshape your lips. A facelift will not smooth the texture of your skin and therefore skin resurfacing would also be required. Best of luck.
