Can laser lipo be performed on banana rolls?

Question

I have quite bad banana rolls which I absolutely hate & would like laser lipo on them, is this possible. I have recently seen some doctors suggest banana rolls are skin, mine are definitely excess fat it's very clear to see that due to the size of them. I live an active lifestyle and have a good diet, I am slim & healthy but this area of fat is incredibly stubborn! Also, can this area be over treated & if yes what happens?

This is difficult to answer without pictures and you'll need an in-person evaluation. Laser lipo is good for removing stubborn areas of fat, but lacks body shaping. For best results with areas like banana rolls, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermiRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. Yes, it most certainly can. Obviously, it is difficult to know if you are a good candidate without an in-person evaluation, but lipo is best intended for small, localized areas of fat that are resistant to diet and exercise, which sounds like the case here. You should clearly be seen by an experienced lipo and body contouring specialist who can determine the best treatment options for you. In answer to the 2nd part of your question, it is possible to overtreat, which could effect the appearance of the gluteal crease, or the fold where your buttock meets your upper thigh, or it is possible to develop lipotrophs, or excessive dimpled areas, where too much fat has been removed in a single region.
