Is this normal for my skin to be feeling this dry and what moisturizer would you recommend?

I had HALO laser done around 3 weeks ago and lately my skin has been feeling VERY dry. I've been applying a moisturizer to try to keep my skin from getting so dry but I still have that very dry feeling and look.

I would follow up with the provider who performed the treatment.  They can evaluate your skin and determine the best treatments/products to help resolve your concerns.

Although the majority of your skin is healed at this point, you still have some healing that is taking place and this can often lead to dryness.  We recommend a Hydrafacial treatment to all of our Halo patients 2 weeks after surgery to help exfoliate any remaining skin and infuse hydration back into the skin.  Additionally I would recommend the gentle daily moisturizer from Elta MD along with one of their facial sunscreens.

You could go back to your doctor and see their esthetician. If the face is really dry, you could benefit from a hydrating mask. At that point you can discuss which products you are using at home and the esthetician can recommed products that suits your needs.

Hello, we strongly recommend Aquaphor or a similar type moisturizer for our patients after treatment. It's important to keep your skin hydrated. I would recommend going back to your provider for a follow up examination and to discuss what moisturizer will work well for your skin. Best of luck.
