After a septoplasty and a revision septoplasty - could I get a more centered septum and symmetrical looking nostrils? (Photos)
2 years ago I had a septotplasty for a bone spur on my left side. The result was a significant deviation in my septum to the right side which caused my nostril to close up whenever I breathed heavily because the passage was so narrow. I waited a year to have a facial plastic surgeon "fix" the issue and it has been 15 months since that in the pics. I am not happy with the appearance, and still can breathe better through one side of my nose because I believe the septum is still crooked, or maybe straight but off-center? I am wondering if a rhinoplasty or septorhinoplasty can actually give give me a centered septum and symmetrical looking nostrils. It might not seem like a big deal to some but having 2 surgeries and this is the result is not acceptable to me. Might a rhinoplasty help in this situation or is it not worth the risk of a 3rd surgery. The first 2 were purely functional, in nature. Thank you.
