Thank you for your question. Having a Kybella treatment one month status post rhinoplasty should not interfere with your rhinoplasty results. Best of luck to you.
Having a Kybella treatment a month after rhinoplasty would not be a problem. The Kybella treatment will not affect the results of the rhinoplasty and vice versa.
Dear Piquyta,Kybella typically takes 3 to 5 treatments to work. This is why I've stopped carrying Kybella in my office. I recommend neck liposuction more often then any injectable procedure for the neck now. It provides superior results gives me more control over the area than any injectable. It also costs about the same as what you paid for your first kybella session. The liposuction can be done under local while awake in the office and recovery is about the same as kybella.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
As long as you have recovered from your rhinoplasty, you should be okay to proceed with Kybella treatment to the submentum. You can confirm with your plastic surgeon prior to treatment.
It is possible to undergo work on your neck a month after rhinoplasty procedure. In our practice, we do not recommend Kybella because it is very in-effective, and takes multiple treatments with significant swelling after each treatment for an extended period of time. Liposuction or a neck lift will provide a significant improvement and is a one-time treatment with two weeks of visible bruising and swelling.
The best advise would be for you to ask the Plastic Surgeon who performed your rhinoplasty. However, if you have had no issues post surgery, getting a Kybella treatment should be totally fine.
There should be no medical reason why you could not have this treatment after rhinoplasty since the two are not related. I do not offer Kybella and believe it is a substantially inferior treatment option compared to liposuction which is the gold standard and best option for the removal of unwanted subcutaneous fat.
