I have tried botox, steroids, more surgeries, they come right back. I think it is making too much scar tissue because where my chin implant is, the incision looks like it is only a year old even though it has been 18 years! I have read about Dupuytren contracture & it is something like it, I believe. Who can help, how long of a procedure is it, can you get rid of it on the first try & how much would it cost? You would be an absolute hero to us! See pictures. Thank you!

Answer: Additional revision You will likely need an additional revision, in view of failure of conservative measures. It would be nice to know what was done in the past. Our office usually gets good results on platysmal bands in revision cases, but an exam is needed and an experienced surgeon should be able to handle this case.

Answer: Frustrating and Difficult problem As you have learned over the years, this is a difficult and frustrating problem and is not easily corrected because of the great degree of scar tissue built up over the years from the multiple treatments. While this MIGHT be improved with a revisional necklift, this would be more difficult and risky than a previously unoperated neck because of the scar tissue. You should have a formal consultation from board certified plastic surgeons who have experience with difficult neck problems such as this, and be sure to bring all of your previous operative reports and procedure records with you to those consultaionsAsk to see results of previous similar problems they have treated, and discuss risks and expectation carefully before making any decision,
