Answer: Neck Fat and Lines Hi DhanushiThanks for posting! Sorry to hear you have concerns and this has affected how you feel about yourself. You can often find that people think they have a big issue but other people will not even notice it.Here are some options but as you seem quite young - go carefully and work out if you really want to do ahead with surgery when the problem is not really visible.Neck Lift Surgery or Platysmaplasty is a cosmetic surgery procedure to help contour and reduce loose skin around the neck. A combination of excess skin excision, liposuction and internal tightening are used in Neck Lift Surgery to achieve your desired look and shape. For those who have excess fat under the chin but still have good muscle tone and skin, liposuction of the neck will be sufficient. If the skin has lost elasticity, removal of excess skin (Neck Lift Surgery) to tighten and tone the neck will also be required.Make sure you find a reputable and qualified plastic surgeon who can assess you properly to give you a realistic idea of what outcome you can achieve.

Answer: Consider your options for improving the neck’s appearance Thank you for your question and photo. You may benefit from a combination of injectable treatments to reduce neck fat and the appearance of the horizontal bands you’re referring to. Botox can be injected directly into the neck bands to reduce muscle activity and smooth out the bands so they are less visible. Another injectable known as Kybella can be used to reduce submental fat below the chin. This formula is composed of a naturally occurring bile acid that naturally attacks and kills fat cells once injected. It is generally administered in 2-4 sessions over the course of 4-6 weeks and produces long-lasting results. Liposuction is also an option, which gently suctions away the fat without damaging surrounding skin and tissue. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified injector who can assess your concerns and determine the best treatment option for you.

Answer: Neck Lines / Tech Neck / Neck Wrinkles -- Soft Fillers (Belotero) in combination w/ Lasers and Microneedling/PRP "Injecting soft fillers like Belotero in this area can reduce lines, wrinkles and folds as well as improve skin texture with long-term collagen production. Fillers are being used more frequently to contour and lift rather than solely line fill. Of course, fillers are best used in combination with lasers and microneedling with PRP to get the optimal outcome. I suggest getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to create an individualized treatment plan that works for you. Best, Dr. Emer"

Answer: Neck Lines Thank you for your question and photo.Neck lines are very common and normal and can be difficult to completely eradicate. From your photo I do no not think surgery is the right option. Often Botox or Dysport coupled with a Hyaluronic filler such as Restylane Silk or Juvederm Ultra will significantly soften these lines. This is an easy safe solution that should help you achieve the result you are searching for. Be sure to seek consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon or dermatologistBest of LuckDrG.
