Is a dentist allowed to perform buccal fat removal in Florida USA?

Medical laws in the US allow almost anybody with a doctor degree to perform surgery (that's why obstetricias are allow to place breast implants even though they haven't been trained on it).
Cosmetic surgery has its risk. Buccal fat removal although it seems to be am "easy surgery" is not. It could be associated with permanent facial paralysis or gaunt aged facial look if performed incorrectly. Therefore, a patient should seek as doctor formal trained in plastic surgery ( e.g/ Plastic Surgeon, ENT surgeon or Facial Plastic Surgeon) to perform buccal fat removal. Additionally, the more experienced the surgeon in the procedure, the less risk associated ( practice expertise) 

While it is a fairly simple procedure, there is an analysis that goes into the procedure that I would say it should be performed by a cosmetic surgeon. Anyone, including yourself, can be trained to do the procedure. The difficulty is patient selection and management of complications. It's not expensive so find someone who can do it safely. $1500 and 30 minutes!
