Hi , im a woman and 19 years old and i have AGA My scalp skin is so light and makes my hair line looks wider . I want to know that can scalp micropigmentation cause hair shedding ? Does it damage hair follicle ?

Scalp MicroPigmentation does not cause shedding or hair loss or damage hair follicles.  If you are losing hair it is best to find out the cause of hair loss before considering treatment.

There is no reason to be concerned that scalp pigmentation will cause your hair to shed. The pigment application is mild and surface deep. Not affecting the hair follicle in any way. If you feel you are shedding hair at a high level it´s best to visit a specialist and have this diagnosed. But you can remove scalp pigmentation of your list of concerns.

Scalp micro pigmentation is placed very superficially on the scalp.  It has not been seen to cause hair shedding or hurt the hair follicles.  If you have having trouble with hair loss, it is best to first see a hair loss specialist who can diagnose the cause and try to stabilize your hair loss first.  Good luck!

If you recieve an anesthetic, SMP can cause shedding because a temporary impact of the local lidocaine on the blood supply of the scalp can cause shedding of advanced the miniaturized hairs. This is distincly a male problem in our experience.
