I hate the way my jawline and cheeks look when I smile, should I fill in the pre-jowl sulcus? (Photos)

Question

I'm 24, but my mom's family all has that dreaded prejowl sulcus look. It's not very pronounced when my face is neutral, but I hate my smile. My chin looks protruding but the rest of my jaw looks round and fat. I already get Botox in my jaw (for bruxism), so I'm not sure if I need to/can reduce the roundness more, or if I should fill in the prejowl sulcus. Or maybe a combination? What can I do to improve this?

A combination approach will give the most improvement. I recommend fillers for the folds themselves but also lifting around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, rf treatments, J Plasma and peels to get the most conservative natural look. Please see a facial sculpting expert. A combination of treatments would be best.  I agree, filling in the pre-jowl sulcus would be quite helpful in straightening the jawline.  Also, I would recommend neurotoxin (Botox, etc.) in the chin to relax the mentalis and smooth the chin.  Lastly, I would consider threadlifting to lift the jowl area.  My preferred product for this is MINT threads.
