How can I treat this burn? I recently used Oxy Pads on my face. (Photo)

Two days later, my face started burning. Now my skin is peeling uncontrollably and some areas are darker than normal. I peeled some off and now the skin in that area is pink and raw. (I naturally have brown skin) The rest of my skin is dry and still peeling. How can I treat this? How long will this last?

You should let your skin be and allow it to peel. It sounds like the Oxy pads were too strong for your skin. Peeling the skin off will result in Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation or permanent scarring. Keep your skin moisturized and call the company to report your adverse reaction and hopefully get a refund. If you are left with left over damaged skin, there are products and treatments to help get the skin back to normal. Schedule an appointment with a licensed esthetician to learn about the best options for your skin type!
