“Oh my goodness you better start breathing some carbon dioxide real soon”. That was perhaps not funny to everybody, but your low CO2 levels is probably nothing to be concerned about, but you may want to discuss this with your primary care doctor. Low CO2 levels often associated with hyperventilating a bit before your blood test, but can potentially be assigned of other underlying medical issues. Carbon dioxide levels are directly related to breathing, lung function, and the pH of your blood. By itself having a slight low CO2 level is not something to be too concerned about I would think. If you have surgery scheduled, then you should definitely check with your provider to make sure they don’t want any tests done before your procedure. good luck with your procedure.
