I was unaware about jaw surgery, and I suffer from a severely recessed jaw and maxilla. I have a 6mm overbite at the age of 23. I was recommended jaw surgery at a young age, but my mother declined. I don't have any issues. My advancement was 10mm horizontal, but I think I want to decrease it down to 8mm due to tightness. Would a revision hurt my chances of getting jaw surgery in the future? I do not have a lot of money right now, so jaw surgery is something I would plan for in the future
