Thanks for your question. As you mentioned, laser hair removal varies from person to person. Depending on the skin type and hair color, the type of laser and the number of treatment sessions required can be quite different. Once desired results are achieved, many people come back annually for 1-2 treatment maintenance sessions. While in the maintenance phase after getting laser hair removal, you may notice there are times when hair growth seems to be more aggressive. This is the ideal time to get a touch-up session, as hair in the active growth phase is most effectively targeted. Best of luck!Dr. Mehta
It really depends on the amount of hair, thickness and treatment area. I typically have patients do laser hair removal every 4 weeks for the first 3 times and then every 4-6 weeks for 3 times after. This schedule gives great results with hair removal. Some patients do require treatments, every 3-12 months, to maintain results. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a laser hair removal expert. Best, Dr. Emer
I recommend after you get to your desired endpoint (be it total removal or just thinning of the hair) that you repeat treatments every 6-12 months depending on the location being treated. This will help maintain your results for a longer time. Good luck.
This is a good question Usually after the treatment is completed we leave it up to the patient when they want to return for touch ups. This can vary anywhere from 3-12 months.Hair grows in cycles These cycles vary depending on the area of the body. Therefore it will depend on the area that was treated and the quality of the hair in that particular area.As more of the hair follicles are treated in a particular area you should be able to go longer between treatments. It is never possible to treat 100% of the hair follicles.
In general, touch ups are needed for LHR about every 6-12 months. It really depends on the area and the thickness of the hair. Remember that the goal of treatment is 75-80% removal, not 100%.
It's difficult to answer without pictures. With lasers, there is the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. This can be improved with a combination of lasers, Aerolase, microneedling/prp, skin lightening, peels, and skin care. Sun protection is essential. I recommend getting a formal ...
Thanks for your question and sorry for the problem – but this is not from the laser hair removal procedure and I would recommend that you have a consultation with your GYN doctor to see what is going on. Laser hair removal is not the cause.
Thank you for your question and for sharing your photographs. Laser hair removal treatments are not advised over a tattoo, as it is not safe. There are risks of burns. It is best not to treat the skin with a tattoo on it. I recommend you consult an expert for an evaluation and to determine the ...
