Answer: Consult With Experienced Board Certified Aesthetic Physicians Addressing your question first, I personally prefer Teosyal Redensity II for under eye tear troughs and dark circles, and it is my injectable of choice for this region in my Israel satellite facility, where it is a regulatory agency approved injectable hyaluronic acid product. As far as I know, it is not, however, approved by the FDA for use in the U.S. In my NY office, I opt for Belotero Balance for this purpose, as this product possesses little to no tendency to give rise to the unwanted bluish/gray Tyndall Effect when injected into the delicate under eye tissue. Your question helps me to segue to what I feel is an important issue when selecting an injector to treat any area of your face and neck, especially the critical infraorbital area. You would be wise to seek consultation and treatment by an experienced board certified aesthetic physician in one of the core aesthetic fields, such as dermatology or plastic surgery, and of course should also ask to see his/her personal before and after photos. You would not likely consider going to a dermatologist or plastic surgeon to treat your teeth, so why would you consider a dentist (or for that matter cardiologist, gynecologist, breast surgeon, family doctor or pediatrician all of whom of late have flooded the aesthetics market) to treat a region as critically important as your face--no matter what cut-rate price may be offered as an enticement. Best of luck.

Answer: Technique and product Hello and thank you for your question. From your question we can advise here but nothing would compare to a face to face consultation in clinic for an accurate plan of what would work best. The more important element is who you trust to do the treatment correctly. With both products good results can be achieved - ensure you see the practitioners before afters and udfnertand their experience treating this area. Hope this helps, Best wishes

Answer: What Filler is Best for Under Eyes Hi Lara. From what we've seen on Realself, most of the physicians (nurses) that perform tear trough injections under the eyes prefer Restylane. This is based on it's consistency and ability to absorb water. It is a smooth consistency so it works well on the thin tissue under the eyes and because it does not absorb as much water as Juvederm, it is less likely to create pouches of fluid that can occur with Juvederm.

Answer: What is best filler for tear trough, Teosyal Redensity 2 or Juvederm Volbella? (photos) Thank you for sharing your excellent question. In most cases a combination of products is needed for the best result and this includes a cheek filler to add support, my preference being a Juvederm product and then placement of a thinner HA filler into the undereyes, typically a Restylane. We do not have access to Teosyal here in the US hope this helps.

Answer: Volbella Some people respond better to a particular type of filler. Overall any hyaluronic acid should give you your desired result if injected properly. Moreover, there are different factors that determine how to appropriately administer a filler.
