Choosing doctor for lipo. Should I go with a more traditional doctor or look for someone who specialized in contouring?

If your goal is a reduction in the size of the area, then most doctors are quite capable of doing liposuction. If you are looking for muscle definition, someone who specializes might be better.

Not only is important to have a doctor with good skills but also one with a personality you can work with. You already know that from your other surgery. I recommend reviewing your surgeon’s before and after pictures again (or for the first time if you haven’t recited them). If his results are appealing, he sounds like a great choice.

Unfortunately, cost is one of many factors to take into consideration when making a final choice. You should feel very confident in your surgeon, his/her office and staff and his before/after photo portfolio.
