When advancing the chin by any means, the fixed labiomental sulcus may get deeper. This is often unavoidable because that area is not changed or pushed out by chin augmentation. It represents the level of the lower mandibular vestibule which is above the bone level of chin projection. It can be simultaneously treated by fat injections to try and make sure that it does not appear deeper after chin augmentation surgery.
good morning As I mentioned in the last post, I think this can be avoided in you so long as the implant follows the natural direction of your jaw which is somewhat inferior in its direction. So you want to give yourself a little more projection but also place the implant just on the under edge of the jaw and chin itself to allow for little improvement in vertical height. I don't think it will be a big problem for you that you need to have this particular question answered for you in person.
From the photos provided, the chin is very weak. Chin Augmentation with a Chin Implant would balance the lower face and yes, it does create a deeper (weak chin's have no groove) mento-labial groove that aesthetically should be at least 5mm's.
