I had a rhinoplasty about 5 months ago. the other day I left my tape on for too long and it was difficult to get off. When i took it off it looked like there was a bump on the bridge of my nose. Is this swelling from taking the tape off too roughly and can it be permanent?

Answer: We have not recommended nasal taping for any of our patients after rhinoplasty surgery.
