Is Sofwave a good treatment option for the thighs area to lift and tighten?
Answer: Sofwave for skin tightening The technology of Sofwave may be helpful to tighten skin on the body, not just the head and neck but for large areas I would wait for engineering to have a larger handpiece that the provider can use which will cover a larger surface area and be more efficient for big areas. It is not practical to work on an entire thigh but I have used it for creases above the elbows, creases above the knees and for crepy skin around the abdomen and upper inner arms.

Answer: Sofwave for the Thighs Thanks for your question. Sofwave actually does have an FDA clearance for 'temporary improvement in cellulite' which is via its skin tightening effect, so we know it is effective for the skin in this region. the thing that might be limiting is the size of the region you want to treat. To treat the full thighs all the way around, for example, is not feasible in one session...in terms of time but also importantly in terms of topical lidocaine dose. Too much topical lidocaine applied in one session could lead to lidocaine toxicity, as some of the topical medication does get absorbed but the body. So, a session of Sofwave would need to be limited to, say, just the back of the thighs, or just the inner thighs, or just above the knees or example. Over time, you could do more regions if need be, budget permitting. I hope that is helpful to you.

Answer: Sofwave for lifting and tightening thighs Hello, and thank you for your question. Sofwave would be a good option for the thigh as it uses ultrasound energy to penetrate into the lower dermal tissue and boost collagen production. Sofwave just received FDA clearance for the improvement of the appearance of skin laxity on the upper arm, making it the only technology in the market to treat upper arm laxity non-surgically as well.
