Would I be a candidate for Sofwave after already getting fillers and Botox?

Thanks for your question. Sofwave delivers heat into the dermis at a depth of exactly 1.5 mm. Technically, if there is filler placed that superficially, it could break down some of the filler, but it would not be dangerous to do. Having said that, it will also stimulate collagen in that skin which could technically replace the dermal filler effect. Regarding Botox or other brands of wrinkle relaxers/neuromodulators, these bind to the target receptors fairly immediately after injection. I wouldn't do Sofwave on the same day in the same area as the tox injection, but otherwise it could be done at any time before tox or after tox. Some providers may tell you to wait a week or two, but there isn't technically anything to 'support' that recommendation. If you were to apply heat to an area you just injected tox into you could certainly inactivate the tox so that it would not work, which is why I say avoid it same day same region for sure.
