Based what you are describing, you appear to be a good candidate for a full tummy tuck which would allow to remove the excess skin below the belly button and to tighten the recuts (abs) muscle in order to achieve a flat abdominal contour. This can be done through a low and short incision, all completely below the bikini line. The belly button can be designed to look natural and have no scars on the exterior.

In some cases, aggressive liposuction using J-plasma or VASER can help tighten the skin, but it will NOT address or remove the excess pooch (excess skin below belly button).

I would recommend to obtain an in person consultation with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon to further discuss your options and expectations.

Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.

Unfortunately, you have not provided photographs. However, if there is excess skin then the skin has to be resected otherwise it will hang. If the excess skin of the lower abdomen only then you can undergo a mini tummy tuck where the scar is hidden very low, near the pubic bone. Liposuction only removes fat, not excess skin. Depending on what your desires are, you may benefit from liposuction, mini tummy tuck or full tummy tuck. I would need photographs to give a more accurate answer.

Hi, thanks for your question. It's not easy to comment without a photo. Anyway, the TT scar will be hidden under your underwear or bikini, and the belly button will look normal. Consult a board-certified plastic surgeon and ask to see the before and after photos, to have an idea about the results. TT is the most effective procedure to eliminate saggy skin, but you have other options for skin tightening such as Lipo with J-Plasma. The results depend on your condition. Good luck!
