Hi there. So, I was looking to get some filler to help soften my nasolabial folds. I had one doctor tell me not to get filler in the nasolabial folds because it would weigh down my face and look awkward. Another doctor recommended RADIESSE injections into that area because of the longer life they have. I’ve had it done there before with another filler, can’t remember, but I guess I tend to metabolize certain fillers quick. So my question is, any suggestions or other areas I should focus on? Thanks in advance for your input’
Answer: Facial rejuvenation From your photos you will likely have the best result from a combination of treatments. You can consider fillers to the cheek area to help support the nasolabial folds. If you metabolize fillers quickly you may want to look into Sculptra. Another option is Renuva. This product is similar to traditional HA fillers in that you get some immediate effect. It differs however because over time your body replaces the product with your own fat to give you longer lasting results. You can add Morpheus8 treatments which combine RF technology with microneedling to improve overall skin tone and texture.

Answer: Nasolabial Folds - Treatment Options Hi, I’m Lauren, the aesthetic injector here at Colorado Plastic Surgery Center. RADIESSE can be a great option for someone who tends to metabolize hyaluronic acid fillers quickly, as it typically lasts longer. When it comes to softening nasolabial folds, treating the cheeks is often a key part of the approach. Volume loss in the midface can make these folds appear deeper, so by restoring lift and structure in the cheeks, we can help soften the folds indirectly and naturally. To ensure the best results, it’s important to consult with a skilled provider who can assess your unique anatomy and goals and create a customized treatment plan tailored just for you.

Answer: NasoLabial Implant is a great way to fix deep NL grooves. NasoLabial implants are nice to fill in deep NL grooves and is done under local from inside the mouth. There is no allergies to them and they look natural. If you want a temporary treatment, then I recommend Radiesse or RHA4 filler.

Answer: Male filler Hi Chewnike! You need volume in your midface (specifically your zygomatic cheeks to lessen the appearance of your tear troughs) and into your pyriform fossae. Only go to an experienced board-certified dermatologist or plastic/oculoplastic/ENT for this as the technique & placement is advanced. Hope this helps! The doctor and training/experience of the doctor is WAY more important than the choice of which injectable to use. Dr. Kiripolsky

Answer: A Robust HA Filler Cheek Augmentation For Improving Facial Contour & Softening Nasolabial Folds The mid-cheeks are a major structural support for the lower face, including the region of the smile folds. At least from the photos provided there appears to be volume deficit in the cheeks, which if addressed with the use of a robust HA volumizing filler properly injected by an experienced injector would not only revolumize and recontour the cheeks, but via the lift that is achieved from the filler treatment would secondarily Improve the smile lines very likely without the need for any direct treatment of that region. In expert hands, the treatment sessions would take about fifteen minutes and typically with immediate, on-the-spot results. With an appropriately robust volumizing filler, the results usually last about eighteen months. You would be wise to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist filler injector expert, and best of luck.
