Nasolabial folds - suggestions to soften the area? (Photos)

Hi there. So, I was looking to get some filler to help soften my nasolabial folds. I had one doctor tell me not to get filler in the nasolabial folds because it would weigh down my face and look awkward. Another doctor recommended RADIESSE injections into that area because of the longer life they have. I’ve had it done there before with another filler, can’t remember, but I guess I tend to metabolize certain fillers quick. So my question is, any suggestions or other areas I should focus on? From your photos you will likely have the best result from a combination of treatments.  You can consider fillers to the cheek area to help support the nasolabial folds.  If you metabolize fillers quickly you may want to look into Sculptra.  Another option is Renuva.  This product is similar to traditional HA fillers in that you get some immediate effect.  It differs however because over time your body replaces the product with your own fat to give you longer lasting results.  You can add Morpheus8 treatments which combine RF technology with microneedling to improve overall skin tone and texture.

In your case, while fillers can provide a temporary improvement, a surgical approach would offer more long-term, natural results.A cheek lift (midface lift) would be ideal to address the nasolabial folds by repositioning the descended cheek tissues back to their youthful position, rather than simply adding volume.I would also suggest combining the cheek lift with fat grafting to restore lost facial volume and improve overall contour in a very natural way.

NasoLabial implants are nice to fill in deep NL grooves and is done under local from inside the mouth. There is no allergies to them and they look natural.  If you want a temporary treatment, then I recommend Radiesse or RHA4 filler.

You need volume in your midface (specifically your zygomatic cheeks to lessen the appearance of your tear troughs) and into your pyriform fossae. Only go to an experienced board-certified dermatologist or plastic/oculoplastic/ENT for this as the technique & placement is advanced.
