Hello doctors, I did a vermilion border liplift to reduce my philtrum and it was the biggest mistake of my life. I lost the white border of my lip, and also I have asymmetry. One side is higher and rounded the other side is lower and straight down. This caused my smile to be lower in one side and higher on the other side. Can I do a lip reduction or can I reduce my left side of the vermillion border that’s rounded and lifted to match the right or will this cause more scarring & worst smile?

A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners.

You are an excellent candidate for a lip lift. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. The cost is $3,000, is done under local anesthesia and takes about 1 hour...
I just did this last week for another person where we did the lip lift and removed some of the silicone at the same time. It's an office procedure. If the filler hasn't migrated it should be quite doable.
